The 929 Ventures Way project was an acquisition through a 1031 Exchange transaction conducted by Ashby Development. This like-kind exchange transaction provided a unique solution to a real estate disposition problem encountered by the owners.
This 24,000 square foot building is in the Greenbrier Commerce Park at 929 Ventures Way, Chesapeake, VA 23320. Situated one block off Volvo Parkway and Greenbrier Parkway provides direct access to the Greenbrier Business District and easy access to I-64, I-464, and the Oakgrove Connector positioning it in the heart of Hampton Roads.
Fourteen office/warehouse flex units comprise the 24,000 square foot building. The Office/warehouse spaces range in sizes of 1100 sqft, 1375 sqft, and 1500 sqft. A typical layout for an office/warehouse unit includes a reception area, two offices, one restroom, warehouse area, and additional storage or office space located in the mezzanine area in the warehouse area. Each warehouse space has a typical 10'x12' overhead door and personal door at the rear of the warehouse.
